Spiritual Holistic Therapies is an ever expanding industry and I have witnessed the varying ethics and beliefs among spiritual and holistic practitioners. GSHA recognises the need for a profession-wide code of ethics. The associations aim is to provide the highest code of ethics for professional spiritual and holistic practitioners worldwide.
Laid out through consultation with experienced therapists, teachers and clients, the high standards I set out are designed to assure both yourself and your clients that the work you carry out has the clients best interest at heart. It is my hope that the Global Spiritual and Holistic Association will become a recognisable symbol of quality throughout the industry worldwide and membership would give your clients the assurance that you are a responsible practitioner who will treat them with honesty and care.

Global Spiritual & Holistic Association is open to therapists everywhere who support a professional approach and a high standard of practise. Becoming a member of Global Spiritual and Holistic Association shows your customers you are an ethical and conscientious therapist.
Members receive a printed certificate of membershipto display in their place of work along with a second certificate displaying the code of ethics which they have agreed to abide by.
The ability to use the letters G.S.H.A. after your name and on promotional information.

’ page where potential clients can search for G.S.H.A affiliated therapists.

Membership Code of Ethics:
To become a member of Global Spiritual Association practitioners and therapists must agree to abide by the following ethics.
- I will educate clients about the products and services offered, providing full and accurate facts to allow the customer to make an educated choice.
- I will maintain the highest level of hygiene standards at all times.
- I will provide a professional and comfortable environment.
- I will never breach the confidentiality of my clients.
- I will not discriminate against clients and respect their opinions and religious beliefs.
- I will ensure clients understand that whilst holistic therapies can be used alone or in conjunction with, they should never be used as a replacement for conventional medicine medical treatment.
- I will ensure the language I use is appropriate to the treatment described. Terms such as “cure”, “treat”, “prescribe” and “diagnose” may mislead clients into believing they are receiving conventional medical advice and will be avoided.
- I will take pride in the service and work that I offer.
- I will ensure I am competent in all the treatments I provide.
- I will be suitable insured at all times.
- I will be polite and courteous to all customers.
- I will deal with all complaints professionally and with the expectations of the customer in mind.
- I will carry out full consultations dealing with any contraindications honestly and professionally
